The academic partners and PRO have been collaborating for several years, within and outside fp7 projects. These partners have extensive knowledge and expertise in conducting clinical trials to test insulin delivery and glucose monitoring as well as artificial pancreas systems (AMS, GRZ, PRO). AMS has been coordinating several European trials and both PRO and GRZ are high throughput clinical research centres with a long-standing interest in clinical-experimental studies and clinical studies for all diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of diabetes treatment.
