The company currently has more than 100 customers in its portfolio mostly outside turkey. Within PCDIAB this partner will be responsible for the development of the necessary presentation and reporting software in the project. The software will interact with the embedded software inside the artificial pancreas. The software will be tailored towards different user groups – patients, physicians, researchers and system developers. It will apply this design feature in different related mobile and conventional devices to ensure optimal safety and usability of the artificial pancreas in its designated environment (test, trial or home).
Ulas Utku Tosun is the founder and the chairman of the board of the company. Ulas has a degree in Business and is continuing his education in the faculty of medicine of Akdeniz University as a medical student. He has been running software projects in several multinational companies and directing some of them in person since 2004. He has also executed the management of the science and technology development zone of Akdeniz University named as Antalya Teknokent.
Peter Langela is specialized in tools for software development and has a rich expertise in the development of software for business critical applications. After his study computer technology and business administration in Holland he was managing partner of several software companies in Holland and Germany. In 1998 he entered the board of directors of Israeli based software tool vendor Magic Software Enterprises (Nasdaq: MGIC). In 2000 he founded Starsale, a company for the development and implementation of large-scale business web applications and enterprise portals. In 2006 he started a software company in Turkey and became partner in Full Group.
